Lives and works in San Francisco, US-CA
He is an muralist and painter political artist known particularly in the San Francisco community for having painted a number of One Way sign murals, such as the One Tree mural on the US-101 onramp at 10th and Bryant Streets, or the Sky/Ground mural at 3rd and Mission Streets. He has also designed several installations as part of the 2006 Liverpool Biennnial. He is considered by some art critics and curators to be part of the first generation of the San Francisco Mission School art movement. His solo shows include: Gallery Paule Anglim, San Francisco; Tate Wikikuwa (The Wind Follows the Sun), Museum of Contemporary Art, Santiago, Chile; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco; Berkeley Art Museum, Berkeley; O Carro do Sabao Azul, Galeria Porta 33, Project Room, Arco '98, Madrid, Spain. His group shows include: 4th Liverpool Biennial, Liverpool, England; California Biennial, Orange County Museum of Art, Newport Beach; Topographies, Pasadena Museum of Art, Pasadena; amongst many more.
His first solo exhibition in Galeria 111 – Lisbon was Muzzos, at February’08.
