Lives and works in São Paulo, Brazil

In 1984, she graduated in Fine Arts, at Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado and completed a PhD at School of Comunications and Arts of University of São Paulo. Her solo shows include: Panorama da Obra de Leda Catunda at São Paulo Pinacoteca Station, Brazil; Pinacoteca do Estado, São Paulo (2009); Galeria 111, Lisbon (2008); Galeria Fortes Vilaça, Brazil; Ramis Barquet Gallery, New York and amongst others Centro Cultural de São Paulo. In her group shows we can call a special attention to: Um Século de Arte Brasileira, Coleção Gilberto Chateaubriand, Museu de Arte Moderna da Bahia, Salvador, Brazil; Volpi Heranças Contemporâneas, Museu de Arte Contemporânea da USP, São Paulo, Brazil; Der Brasilianische Blick, Coleção Gilberto Chateaubriand, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin, Germany; 15 Artistas Brasileiros, MAM - Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil, Latin American Women Artists 1915-1995, National Museum of Women in the Art, Washington, DC; Art Institute, Miami, US-FL and XXII Bienal de São Paulo.
