Curriculum

Born 1984, Chapel Hill, US-NC

Lives and works in Lisbon

He received his BA in Cinema and Visual Arts at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art (NY, 2006) and in 2007 studied at Le Frenesoy Studio National des Arts Contemporains (Tourcoing). Since 2002 he has regular solo exhibitions: Buttpocalipse, Galeria 111, Lisbon, 2007; Visionary Iraq, Galeria 111, Oporto; Too Many Daddies, Mommies, and Babies, Maumaus, Lisbon; 20-30 Experiments in Moral Relativism, Galeria 111, Lisbon, 2008; ZAAL 5 Film Huis Den Haag, Den Hag, 2009. His work was in a number of collective exhibitions, namely in 2010: Dynasty at Palais de Tokyo and Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris; Reset at Fondation Ricard in Paris.

He received numerous awards which include the Golden Leopard for Best International Short Film at the Locarno Film Festival 2010 for his film A History of Mutual Respect.
